


As we move into January continue to nourish your insides through the winter season with these nutrient dense, winter gems. Not shown here ~ are the All-time Veggie Winter favorites ~ Kale, Collards, Brussels Sprouts, Swiss Chard, rutabaga and turnips, a variety of Winter Squash and potatoes. These foods give us a nice array of seasonal choices.
Along with the produce, consider a hearty pot of dry beans, peas, or lentils as a soup, in a chili, stew or mixed into grains or rice and seasoned to your liking . A leafy green salad is always welcome. With these dishes we are incorporating unrefined coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil.



WINTER FRUIT: A -1 is citrus, including blood oranges, lemons and limes. Pomegranates flourish in winter, plus apples and pears are still available through the winter season for us to enjoy.
